Thanksgiving Week

Sorry so behind thought I posted this a week ago but realized that I didn't. Enjoy

Bradley took off the week of Thanksgiving so we traveled to Muleshoe and Amarillo and spent some time with family and friends. We left sunday morning and traveled to Muleshoe. This was his first time to travel more than 60 miles and did great. We stayed in Muleshoe until Wednesday then traveled to Amarillo. We spent Thanksgiving day with my family at my grandads and had a good time. Then we went back to Muleshoe and spent the rest of the weekend and headed home on Sunday. We had a great time getting to see everyone and a lot of people got to meet Seth for the first time. We enjoyed it, but its always nice to be home.Seth is doing great. He is growing like crazy. He has found his fist and it stays in his mouth alot of the time. He is cooing all the time and laughs outloud( so sweet) He had his 2 month check up on Monday and weight 12lbs 4oz. 23inches long. He had to get five shots and did good. The first one didn't cry, but kept getting them one after the other and each one he cried a little harder.

Growing Boy

Seth is growing so fast and starting to smile and laugh. It is some work to get a smile, but when he does it is the sweetest smile ever. We are starting to do tummy time and he does great at lifting his head for short periods of time. He keeps his legs and arms going when he is laying down on his tummy or back. He has gotten where after he eats he will stay awake for about thirty minutes and look around. Bradley and I are enjoying that time to see his little personality. Here are some snap shots and some sweet smiles.

Seth's First Halloween Sweet Pea

Bradley went and bought a big pumpkin for Seth's first Halloween. I decided at the last minute that what kind of a mom would I be if I did not get him a costume. As always Wal-Mart to the rescue. It turned out pretty cute and now I can treasure his first Halloween costume. After the family left on Sunday Bradley carved the pumpkin for us to take pictures with Seth. He did a very good job and it turned out pretty cool. Ofcourse Bradley and I enjoyed it a lot more than Seth did, but we will be able to share the pictures with him when he gets older.

My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys....

This past Saturday was the 10th annual Burns ropin. Mom and Dad and my Grandad came down Friday night. Seth and I went with them to the ropin in Comanche on Saturday. Bradley was on call so he did not get to go, but wanted Seth and I to go so Seth could meet his extended family. Seth did great! My Nana and Joel brought their camper so Seth and I could go in to feed and rest and still see what was going on. It was a beautiful day and it was good to see all the family. We are FAMILY!!!
