Seth Matthew Thomason 7lbs 10oz

Sunday September 26 Bradley and I were watching tv and at about 11:00 I started having contractions. I tried to go to sleep, but they kept getting closer together and stronger. I told Bradley to get some sleep and I was going to start cleaning house because we might be having a baby tomorrow. I started cleaning and did not get very far. I called labor and delivery at about 12:00am and they said to drink two glasses of water and lay down. Well the next contraction was very painful so I woke up Bradley and said its time to go. We called mom and dad and Pam and Charles to tell them we are on the way to the hospital. They immediately got on the road. We got to the hospital at about 2:00 am and they admitted me and said we are going to have a baby today. So after about 8hours of labor we ended up having to do a c-section and at 10:28am on September 27th we were blessed with the most special little boy ever. He is perfect! He looks like Bradley and has dark hair and blue eyes. We are doing great! We eat, sleep repeat! My mom has been down here helping us and I don't know how I would have made it without her. It has been nice that Bradley and I can enjoy our time with Seth. Also nice to have meals cooked, laundry done and a clean house all the time. Thank you Mom! This last weekend Seth got to meet his Uncle Brandon and Aunt Jana and cousins Mackenzie and Braylee. Also his Grana and Papa came to visit. Can't wait for everyone to meet our sweet little boy!!

Seth's Corner

Bradley and I decided since we have a large bedroom we wanted to start out with Seth in our room. The room is not complete, but is ready for his arrival. My Dad, mom and Nana and Joel bought us the baby bed, my sister in law Laura made the bedskirt, and I made the bumper pads. The rocking chair in the corner was Bradley's grandmothers where she rocked Charles as a baby, and Pam had it recovered for me to use. The table next to the rocker is something that has been with me through lots of years My Papa who we lost 9 years ago to cancer bought it for me in Canton. I repainted it to blend with our bedroom and Seth's bed. The Pictures hanging are of Bradley and I when we were 6 weeks old. My mom made the blanket draped over the chair, and hanging Always Kiss me good night frame is Bradley's belt when he was a little boy.
Our doctors appointment yesterday went very well. Dr said I am dialated to a 3 and am 80% effaced. We have another appointment next Thursday if we make it that far, which Dr. Robbins thinks we will. Although she said we might not make it very far past next Thursday. The sonagram shows that Seth weighs about 6 pounds and 4 oz. Can't believe we are that close. Seems like yesterday I was in Canyon, TX with 8inches of snow on the ground stuck in our apartment telling Bradley I think I am pregnant.
