On the Go

Seth started crawling the Monday after Mothers Day. He loves it! He can go anywhere he wants and get anything he can get to. He is almost eight months (stats to come) He is starting to pull up on everything and will do a bear crawl at times. He is so much fun. I keep thinking it can not get any funner than this, but each day is a fun adventure. He is starting to get into stuff, but each day I baby proof one more thing. So we are on the way to a safe play area. I think I finally have it all covered. Charles and Pam came down the weekend before last to see Seth and give Bradley and I some time out of the house. Seth had so much fun playing and getting so spoiled. Hey that is what grandparents are for right? Bradley and I enjoyed some time out of the house. Thanks Charles and Pam!!!
Love this picture of him looking outside. Getting so big!!

Fell asleep in Papa's arms holding his ball!

Seth's First Easter

We had a great Easter. Brandon, Jana, and the girls came down. We had a good time playing outside, swimming at the motel, and easter egg hunting. We went over to Chad and Laura's on Saturday night to have an Easter egg hunt, but there was a bad storm so the kids had a picnic on the floor. It has been a long time since we have all been together so it was a good time of catching up. We had a great time but as you can tell there are not any pictures of all the kids together. I am starting to figure it out that trying to get 6 kids altogether for a picture is not very easy. Next time I guess I will have to be a strict Aunt Kala and make it happen.

Pam had bought the kids some matching Easter outfits. So on Saturday I took the three kids to the park and took some pictures. I thought they turned out really cute.

Seth is now 7 months old and he is growing up so fast. Everyday Bradley and I are amazed of how our little baby has grown into a little boy. He is so active! Rolling all over the floor, and getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. Not crawling yet, but I have a feeling it will not be long. He is a sweet sweet little boy. Also he has two teeth on bottom that have came in and they just broke the skin.

A great weekend with Family and Fun, can't ask for more than that. We are so blessed!!

MRI

Seth had a MRI on Wednesday April 20th. His neurologist put on the orders for him to be sedated. So we got to the hosital at 8:00 and waited for the test. Finally at about 11:00 they gave him some gas and he went to sleep. After I left the room they did his IV and then gave him the anesthesia. They said he did great, and was gone from us for about 2 hours. The MRI was an hour long, and then he was in recovery. When they called us back to recovery. He was sitting up in the hospital bed like a big boy smiling at all the nurses. I think he is going to be a flirt. Everyone loved him, and would just stop in to get a smile. We waited for about 30min in recovery he drank some water and kept it down so we got to go home. He did great and did not ever get sick after the anesthesia. Thank you Lord. We went in this last Wednesday for the results, and Dr. Roberts said the MRI looked good. The fluid is all gone, and the schunt is doing its job. He also said that the valve that is blocked is blocked with a tectal glioma. It is still very small, which is good, and we will keep a close watch on it. We pray it stays small and does not change. He will have another MRI in November, and then after that hopefully just once a year. Seth is doing great and we thank you all for the prayers.
Sorry the pictures are so small. They where taken with my phone and I am not sure how to make them larger.

A Visit from the Grandparents

A couple of weekends ago Charles and Pam where going to come down and keep Seth, so Bradley and I could have some time out of the house just the two of us. Charles ended up having to work so Pam came on down. Bradley and I left around 2:oo and spent the day together. It was so nice getting away without a baby on my hip. Pam and Seth hung out at the house and played. Thanks Pam!

This last weekend mom and dad came down so Dad and Chad could go hunting. They got to my brothers house on Wednesday night. Thursday they came over to see Seth, and then Dad went hunting. Mom and I spent Thursday and Friday together, and did some much needed catching up, and for the first time in a long time. Seth got some one on one time with Nana.

Seth enjoyed getting to see his Grana,Pops, and Nana. Can't wait for the next visit

Love yall

6 months old

Time passes by so fast. Seth is now 6 months old!!Bradley and I can not believe how fast he is growing. He is such a fun and happy little boy. He is sitting up all by himself and loves to sit on the floor and play with his toys.

6 month old stats:

Height 26 1/2 inches
Weight 18lbs

He loves all of his baby food. I have not found one that he will not eat!!
Still likes his jumper for a short time
Loves to sit up on the floor
Loves to be outside in his stroller or bumbo.
Loves his puppies Jake, Hannah, and Hope when she will get near him
Likes to watch some tv
Takes two naps a day usually at ten and two for hour and a half to two hours
Goes to bed at 7pm and sleeps till 7am (Mommy loves that)
Holds his own bottle, then gets a little lazy
Hates the sun. so we got him some sunglasses and he will suprisingly wear them.

If he wants something and it is out of his reach he will try his hardest to get it and if he can't he will get so mad.

He is doing great and we are enjoying every minute with him. His 6 month check up went good. We go on the 20th of April for the next MRI. Praying for good test results, and that he will do good for the testing, he is a little more active since his first MRI at 4 months old.

Hope everyone is doing good.

Here are some of his 6 month pictures. I was not very satified so there will be more to come.
